Berlin-Tegel (1982)

Another Cold War souvenir, when only airlines from the three Western allies in WWII were allowed to fly into Berlin-Tegel airport. Air France and TAT from France, British Airways and Dan-Air from the UK, and the American airline Pan Am flew from this airport to domestic destinations in the German Federal Republic and also to Paris, London, Amsterdam and Zürich (Pan Am flew to the USA via their European gateways) There were also some charter flights, which were also operated by airlines from these three countries.
